2024 in Review

2024 has been an incredibly exciting year for Dauntless Dachshunds.

Augusta’s second major under Dr. Eric Liebs in Jackson, Mississippi

Augusta finished her Championship, Grand Championship, and earned 85 out of the 100 points required for a Grand Champion Bronze title. She earned 3 FastCAT titles (DCAT, FCAT, and FCAT2) and she is only 4 runs away from her FCAT3 title. She also earned two Trick Dog titles — that’s 12 titles in 2024 and 13 titles overall.

We met for the first time our Amazing Pipster, and she has brought us incredible joy.

Augusta and Pip both earned Fit Dog titles (Gus = Gold, Pip = Bronze), Novice Trick Dog titles, Barn Hunt Titles (Gus = RATN, Pip = RATI), and Canine Good Citizen (GCG) titles!

Our goals for 2025 include finishing Augusta’s Bronze, ideally before March, as she will take some time away from the show ring to be a mom. If all goes according to plan, we should have Gussie babies in May, 2025.

Pip will earn her BCAT and DCAT at least, and will probably grab an FCAT since she is SO, SO fast! When she has a performance title, her Fit Dog Silver and Gold titles will be awarded as well.

Both Gus and Pip earned their Intermediate Trick Dog title this year, and we will continue with our coursework of Advanced tricks with our fantastic instructor, Sassafras Patterdale with Introvert Circus.

We are excited about the possibilities of 2025!

We have several folks anxiously awaiting a show prospect from Augusta’s first litter, but we are considering families for sport and companion dogs who will be ready to join their new families this summer.
