Current Litters: February 2026
Please reach out if you would like more information about our exciting litter plans for February, 2026.
As a transparent breeder, I value transparent, communicative applicants who are seeking both a well-bred dog and a lifetime system of support. Our families value health testing and early socialization protocols like Puppy Culture, and are willing to invest time and energy into additional thoughtful socialization activities that will ensure their dachshund is equipped for success. While we do not require companion dogs to earn performance titles, we will eagerly support your efforts to pursue any sports or activities with your dog that you enjoy.
Apply if you are ready for a puppy now, or if you are not quite ready, but want to bring home a puppy in the next year or two, and want to develop a relationship with us now. Our litter sizes are small, and we are breeding primarily to produce dogs with excellent structure and breed type (that is to say that we will want to keep one for our own program!), so those with patience and understanding that well-bred dogs are worth the wait are the best fit for a Dauntless Dachshund.
Ideally, you know you are intentionally pursuing a dirt goblin – a spicy German terrier (in the sense that they were bred to hunt underground) – and you understand that houndy “stubbornness” is a purposeful selection over hundreds of years for dogs who think independently. Hounds are the only group of dogs that were NOT designed to work for people. Therefore, they are not biddable like sporting breeds, and they are not continually contemplating what your needs might be like herding breeds. They are, however, deeply hilarious, and I would have no other breed.
I am open to phone calls and Zoom chats as we get to know one another while you wait for your dachshund to be ready to join your family.
Please let me know via text or email when you have submitted an application.
